SPICY MANGO SMOOTHIE

Posted by Carolyn Lees on

Spicy Mango Smoothie

2 cups of nut milk (homemade or store-bought) or filtered water

2 large handfuls of washed spinach— basically enough for a large salad

About 1 cup frozen mango chunks

1 or 2 Medjool dates to taste (remove pit!)

1/4 avocado or 1-2 tablespoons raw almond butter

1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

1 teaspoon spirulina powder or chlorella

Place all ingredients into high-speed blender and process until smooth and creamy. Pour into a large mason jar for an easy workaday lunch. Just remember to refrigerate it when you get to the office.

Makes one large lunch serving (or two snack-sized servings)
