It’s hard to believe we have now entered winter after having one of the warmest autumns ever in Sydney! I’m not complaining though.
Today I’m sharing 2 easy tips for preventing colds and flu over this winter season.
1. Ensure you are getting enough Vit C in your diet as this helps to keep our immune system strong. Try to include lots of fruits and veggies such as lemons, oranges, kiwis, broccoli and capsicum. If you’re really struggling to get your daily veggie intake in, try juicing them.
2. Move your body. Just because its winter, this is no excuse to stop exercising. It’s really important to keep up your exercise regime even in the winter months. Try not to go overboard though. As too much overly strenuous exercise can cause a lot of stress to our bodies and can indeed weaken our immune system. Try to find that healthy balance.
